Tata Rolls Out Adventure X Editions
Tata Motors has launched the new Adventure X variants of its popular Harrier and Safari SUVs. The starting price is ₹18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). These editions add a rugged look and updated features to enhance appeal for SUV buyers.
Bold Design with Functional Aesthetics
These variants include blacked-out alloy wheels, roof rails, and distinct Adventure badging. A matte exterior finish adds to the tough, outdoor-ready vibe. Tata blends the Dark and Adventure styles to give these SUVs a commanding presence.
Notably, the styling isn’t just cosmetic. Elements like skid plates and roof accessories give a more capable appearance for adventure trips.
Premium Interior with Smart Features
Inside, the Adventure X variants come packed with features. Key highlights include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 360-degree camera. Tata also added ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium sound system.
The interior styling is also new. Tata uses themed accents and richer materials to create a more upscale, yet sporty, cabin experience.
Performance and Safety Offerings
Both SUVs use the same 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine, delivering 170 PS power and 350 Nm torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. While there’s no 4WD option, these SUVs offer enough ground clearance and electronic aids for rough roads.
In terms of safety, they include six airbags, ESC, hill hold, and descent control. Tata continues to prioritize safety across all variants.

Market Position and Value
With these trims, Tata targets buyers who want a mix of style and utility. The Adventure X sits between the base and top variants, offering value without compromising features. This move helps Tata compete with rivals like the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus.
Tata also leverages this update to keep its SUVs fresh in a highly competitive mid-size segment.
