PM-KISAN Scheme Reaches New Milestone

The PM-KISAN scheme continues to benefit over 11 crore farmers across the country. On July 17, 2025, the government initiated the 20th installment transfer of ₹2,000 directly into the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries. The scheme aims to provide assured financial assistance to small and marginal farmers, totaling ₹6,000 annually in three installments.

Check Your Beneficiary Status Online

To verify the status, farmers must visit the official PM-KISAN portal. By entering their Aadhaar number, mobile number, or registration ID, they can instantly check if their 20th installment has been credited. This helps avoid delays and ensures transparency in the process.

Update eKYC and Address Details Immediately

Notably, officials have urged beneficiaries to complete eKYC and update their address and bank account details. Many farmers reportedly missed previous installments due to incomplete documentation. Therefore, farmers must log in and ensure their records are updated before the final processing.

What If You Missed Your Payment?

If a farmer hasn’t received the ₹2,000 payment, they can contact their local agriculture officer or call the PM-KISAN helpline at 155261 or 011-24300606. Quick action ensures your next installment isn’t delayed.

Government Pushes for Digital Verification

The Ministry of Agriculture has emphasized digital verification to prevent fraud and duplicate beneficiaries. With Aadhaar-based eKYC now mandatory, the process becomes more secure and efficient for all involved.
