The case shocked Bihar when Khemka, known for his hospital and real estate ventures, was shot dead in broad daylight on July 4. The investigation quickly focused on business and political rivalries, with multiple suspects interrogated in the following days.
Police allege that Sahu was the mastermind who offered a ₹10 lakh contract to eliminate Khemka, allegedly driven by personal enmity and past disputes related to a local club election.
