Renault India is preparing to introduce the 2025 facelift of the Renault Triber, the country’s most affordable 7-seater MPV, on July 23. Known for its modular interior and impressive space within a compact body, the Triber has been a popular choice among budget-conscious Indian families since its debut. With the facelift, Renault aims to refresh its design and features while maintaining its unbeatable value proposition.

What’s New in the Triber Facelift?

The upcoming Triber is expected to sport a number of design and equipment upgrades:

  • A new front grille with Renault’s latest logo

  • Revised bumpers for a more SUV-inspired look

  • Sleek LED headlamps and DRLs

  • Updated alloy wheel designs

  • LED tail-lamps with refreshed detailing

Inside, the Triber facelift is expected to receive:

  • A revised dashboard layout with improved materials

  • A larger touchscreen infotainment system

  • Digital instrument cluster

  • New seat fabric and enhanced cabin textures

   Engine & Performance

Mechanically, the Triber facelift will continue with the same 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine delivering around 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. It will be paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. While the powertrain remains unchanged, Renault is likely to improve NVH levels and refinement. A factory-fitted CNG variant may continue to be offered for higher fuel efficiency.

   Pricing & Positioning

With an expected starting price of ₹6.00 to ₹6.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the Triber facelift will remain India’s most affordable 7-seater, undercutting competitors like the Maruti Ertiga, Kia Carens, and Toyota Rumion. Renault is positioning the Triber as a perfect blend of practicality, affordability, and style—especially for first-time car buyers and growing families.
