In a groundbreaking move, Bajaj Auto has launched the Freedom 125, India’s first motorcycle powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). This launch marks a major milestone in the Indian two-wheeler industry, combining sustainability with cost-effectiveness to meet the demands of eco-conscious and budget-focused commuters.
The Bajaj Freedom 125 is designed with a dual-fuel system, allowing the rider to switch seamlessly between CNG and petrol. This innovative feature ensures uninterrupted travel even if one of the fuel sources runs out. The bike offers a claimed CNG mileage of over 100 km/kg, significantly reducing the cost per kilometer compared to conventional petrol-powered bikes.
